Ridden
at the South Pole by a research scientist, around the world and into some of its
most remote corners by Heinz Stucke, numerous times between Land’s End and John
O’Groats by intrepid riders. Brompton bikes have for a long time taken their
owners to new places. And whilst typically a staple in the city, many owners
have recognised the robust build and compact fold (when hopping in trains
planes or cars) to be big benefits when planning an excursion to somewhere new.
To
celebrate cycling’s inherent spirit of adventure, we have created Explore.
Spec’d and styled ready for you to either find a new route, or plan your next
escape. Pedal an off-the-beaten-track through town or pack up the bag and bust
out of the city to the great outdoors.
The
Brompton Explore special edition – tested by explorers; Alastair Humphreys on a
Scottish Highland odyssey and, er, Steve in our design team when he wanted to
find a more scenic route to the pub.
6
speed, with reduced gearing, makes hills a joy, luggage capacity ready for
longer trips, a saddle pouch loaded with accessories to keep you on the go, decked
out with premium touch points and finished in earthy hues inspired by the
landscape.
The
quickest way to have an adventure? Jump on a bike and find somewhere new. Could
be close by, could be a big trip, or just a different route to somewhere you’re
already going. This bike is for enjoying the journey.
