Pashley Roadfinder – Special Edition

To celebrate Pashley’s 90th birthday in 2016, our designers and production team have produced a superbly equipped special edition bicycle.  

The Roadfinder SE features a Pashley hand-crafted Reynolds 725 steel frame in a unique dusk-silver finish with a polished Reynolds 921 stainless steel chainstay. It is equipped with specially selected componentry including a full Shimano Ultegra 2×11 mechanical groupset, Ultegra wheelset, Brooks lightweight C13 saddle with carbon rails, and GB handlebars and stem. With its classic styling and modern componentry the Roadfinder SE looks great and rides beautifully. 

1. 1. Traditionally hand-crafted lightweight frame formed from Reynolds 725 steel with polished stainless Reynolds 921 chainstay: The frame has been built using the traditional method with investment cast lugs – a low temperature, low stress, hand-craft process – and double butted, lightweight Reynolds 725 steel which has been heat-treated to give a superior strength to weight ratio. Finished with pointed wrap around top eyes featuring the Pashley name in relief, and polished Reynolds 921 stainless chainstay. Equipped with braze-ons for mudguards (clearance for 25c tyres), and 2x bottle cages. 
2. 2. Special Edition frame plates: the Roadfinder SE features a special edition stainless steel headbadge and 90th anniversary seat-tube plate.
3. 3. Classic GB handlbars: Versatile bars that allow for switching between a semi-upright to an aerodynamic riding position. Finished with GB anti-slip diamond patterned silcone back handlebar tape.
4. 4. 22 Speed Shimano Ultegra mechanical groupset: Full Shimano Ultegra 2×11 mechanical groupset. Semi-compact Chainset (52-36T) together with a 11-28T cassette offers an broad gear range to tackle flat out efforts as well as the steepest of climbs. Precision shifting.
5. 5. Powerful dual-pivot caliper brakes: Road? Gravel? Where ever your ride takes you, TRP’s RG957 will be there. The long reach (47-57mm) allows plenty of room for larger tires and mud. Forged TT6 aluminum caliper arms, TRP alloy rim cartridge brake pads, adjustable pad holders, Teflon bushings and stainless steel hardware give this brake great performance with exceptional value.

Shimano Ultegra wheelset with sealed bearing system and low spoke count: Shimano’s sealed yet serviceable bearing system and wide flange hub design coupled with an asymmetrical rim and low spoke count (18/20) resultsin a stiff yet lightweight wheelset capable of withstanding UK riding conditions. UST tubeless ready.
7. 7. Lightweight tyre with low rolling resistance:  Continental GP4000S II tyres. Featuring grip with lower rolling resistance, higher mileage and maximum wet weather grip. A breaker layer provides an unsurpassed level of puncture protection.
8. 8. Polished stainless chainstay: For both aesthetics and functionality, the Roadfinder features a polished Reynolds 921 stainless steel chainstay. Compared to a painted surface, it offers superior frame protection against contact with the chain.
9. 9. Protective stainless steel dropout plates: replaceable protective stainless steel dropout faces, to help prevent damage to the paintwork and frame.
10. 10. Brooks lightwieght C13 Cambium Rubber Vulcanised Rubber Saddle: Made from vulcanized natural rubber and organic cotton. Features a continuous lightweight carbon rail that eliminates performance-resistant contact points and saves on weight. Offers comfort right out of the box!
